Vanlife Part 1 - Glenshee in the Cairngorm National Park

Vanlife Part 1 - Glenshee in the Cairngorm National Park

Time for a well earned break from 'creating'........

So after a hectic few weeks setting up our exciting new business and creating designs to get us kick started i decided to take a day out and head up to the Cairngorm National Park here in Scotland last week.

It's only about an hour or just over from where we live on the coast so it's a handy place to head off to for some solitude, peace and quiet which is just fantastic. There are plenty of areas that you can park up over night in the van so i chose one that was just at the head of the valley at Glen Shee.

The van is pretty self contained so it was just a case of parking up, levelling the van up and then pop the roof up and make the bed, job done. I got there just before sunset intentionally as i planned to set my drone up to get some shots of the sunset and again in the morning at sunrise.

I had some time to make a quick 'brew', in my case a coffee, before letting the drone loose down the valley to get some shots and some video footage.

Once finished it was getting pretty dark and i could just see the faint outline of Stags on the crests of the peaks either side of the valley and hear them calling to each other across the valley! It was amazing to see and hear and really added to the solitude feeling of being where i was in a very special place indeed.

If you fancy taking a look at the resulting video then head over to YouTube and take a look at my channel, Mark Handford Photography. ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqeIyFFlYB0nhgfKlQHWILw )

Refreshed after a good nights sleep (even though i could hear the stags most of the night) it was back to Ellilias HQ (Home) to get back at creating and designing for the site.

Hope you like some of the new 'Vanlife' designs that are now available, let me know if you want to see any specific designs, always happy to look at bespoke designs for anyone that has any ideas or needs.

Take care for now,

Mark
